My.Scout
All aspects of administration are supported by the My.Scout / Online Scout Manager system. This is where you pay for subscriptions, sign up for any pay for events and view the programme, and badges. There is a self service area where you can update contact details, health information etc. Have your private link and/or create an account for easy access. Remember never to share your private link with anyone.
Communications Reminder
The primary method of communication for all sections is Email and we aim to respond within 1 - 2 days. This may seem a bit impersonal sometimes, but it is less intrusive on leaders lives than other methods. Leaders will of course talk to you on the phone when a conversation is more appropriate, however please do try to avoid telephoning leaders on Friday afternoons/evenings unless it is absolutely essential. Please try to communicate with well in advance to avoid last minute questions.
All previous emails are visible in My.Scout.
We do keep our website up to date with general information and newsletters: www.29thenfield.org.uk .
We have a private Facebook group to facilitate communication between parents and leaders. Follow this link to request to join:

If your query relates to a specific section please use their dedicated email addresses so the section leaders can get back to you (please don't send everything to your GSL!)

When replying to general emails please amend your subject line to reflect the subject you are writing about rather than just replying to a random email.
HQ Parking
We operate an informal one way system by approaching via Halifax Road, and departing via Manor Road to help the flow of traffic. Please do not enter the cul-de-sac section of Halifax Road, do not park in the private car park for the flats and do not block access to the gates as this will require dangerous reversing manoeuvres and impedes safe pedestrian access.
There is a footway into Gordon Road which has easier access for vehicles.
Thank you for your help and support.
Peter
