St Georges Day Parade - Sunday 24th April
St George is the patron saint of Scouting. To celebrate, we parade with the district through the Town and renew our promise. Every member of the group is expected to attend this parade, advanced notice has been given numerous times.
Meet us 2:30pm at Enfield Grammar Upper School in the playground via entrance in Little Park Gardens (near Church Street Post Office) map: https://goo.gl/tZdFfv Parents please leave as soon as you have handed your child over to our group leaders as space is limited. Parents can watch the parade through the Town. The finish is at a different location this year, in Portcullis Car Park which is down the private road opposite the civic centre. Full smart uniform must be worn with scarves pressed and neatly rolled, black/grey school trousers/skirt, black polished shoes. In case of adverse weather, wear additional thin layers under uniform and bring/wear waterproof cagoule.
Termly Subscriptions
A reminder that subscriptions are due at the start of term. There are no volunteers available to chase subs, so it is now up to parents to make sure they pay subscriptions promptly. You will receive system generated email requests for payment from the My.Scout system. Please mark these messages as important and do not ignore them. If subs remain unpaid by the 4th week of term you will be deemed to have left the group and your place will be offered to the next person on the waiting list. If there are any financial difficulties please speak promptly in confidence to a leader so we can come to a suitable arrangement. Thank you for your cooperation.
