Church Parade
July Church Parade is next Sunday 12th July at Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St George. Meeting at 9.00am in the parish centre, entrance to the right as you approach the church. Full SMART uniform, long sleeved uniform tops/shirts, smart school trousers/skirts, cleaned school shoes and uniform scarf. All welcome including parents and families. Please make every effort to attend. Refreshments in the hall afterwards and leaders will be available to chat.
Term Dates
End of term is approaching. Our last meetings will be on 17th July. We resume for Autumn Term on 11th September.
Summer Camp
The Scout Troop are off to Wales for summer camp for the first week of the holidays. They have plenty of activities booked and will be tweeting updates.
Bear Grylls Survival School
The Chief Scout is looking for volunteers to spend August being filmed for a TV show while learning to survive in the wilderness somewhere in Wales. More information here:
Email Etiquette
Please help us out when emailing by making sure you edit the subject line so that it actually reflects your content otherwise we might not notice your message as it will be mixed with delivery reports and bounced messages with the same heading. We receive over 100 scout emails a month, so need to be able to identify important messages by subject.
