6th and 13th Enfield Scout Groups
Subs
Thanks to everyone that has paid subs so far. There are still quite a few to collect so please hand a cheque payable to “13th Enfield Scout Group” to one of the leaders this Friday. No cash please, we bank it before use so cheques are safer. I hope not to have to chase individuals pleaseJ. If this is a problem please do speak to me in confidence.
My.Scout
We are using a Scout management system called “Online Scout Manager” which enables you to see programme and payment information. Soon you will receive an email invitation to use this system. You can simply save the invitation and click on the secure personal link with no need to logon. If you wish you can create logon account for yourself if you find it easier, the choice is yours, follow the on screen instructions. We will soon be able to offer electronic subs payments using this system.
Parent Help Rotas
Cub parents will already be aware we have found the need for a parents’ rota for the pack. Beavers could also benefit from some additional help as it means they can be more ambitious with what they plan to do. We are trying My.Scout for this which gives you the opportunity to sign up to an evening that suits you. When you receive your invite shortly please select an evening to help. We do need someone for this week please. You get an automated reminder a week before your slot. If we find evenings uncovered we will allocate you in alphabetical name order. Many thanks for your help with this.
Church Parade
This Sunday 6th October. 9:00 at Or Lady of Mount Carmel and St George starting in the parish centre to the right as you approach the church. All welcome in smart uniform, school trousers/skirt, clean black shoes. If you are doing the Welly Walk on Saturday don’t panic if uniform is not in immaculate condition, that can be excused J
