To all Beaver, Cub and Scout Parents,

Church Parade

A reminder that it is Church Parade this Sunday, 2nd February at Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St George Catholic Church. All welcome and we are hoping for an excellent attendance. Meet at 9am in the Parish Centre (door to the right of the Church).

Subs

Almost all subs have now been collected for this term. Apologies if you received some system generated reminders after paying by cheque or cash. This is due to a delay in inputting manual data into the system.

My.Scout

I hope you have all been able to access your My.Scout account through the system emails sent to you. My.Scout provides a notice board, useful programme information, allows you to sign up to help once a term, and pay for subs and events.

Regular Parent Helpers

We are looking for four volunteers per section to sign up as regular helpers to form a rota to help once a month. Please ask me for more information if you are able to help us. No experience necessary.

Assistant Leaders

We have vacancies for uniformed assistant leaders in all sections.. No experience necessary. Excellent industry recognised leadership training is provided. These roles are very rewarding. If you would like to join our adventure or know of anyone who may be interested please speak to me or any of the leaders for more information.

Annual Census

Once a year we have to report statistics to HQ. We need to show that our membership reflects the diversity of the community we belong to, so are asked to collect ethnic origin and disability information for our members. My.Scout is able to do this anonymously for us (we do not see the detailed responses, just the summary counts). Please do respond to the automated email requesting this information. The good news is once you have completed this we will never have to ask you again!
